Loving, secure care for people with dementia and memory challenges.

We proudly offer state-of-the-art memory support.

An esteemed heritage. In over 125 years serving many generations of seniors, our medical team and caregivers have worked with virtually every form of dementia. That depth of experience is a valuable asset to families in Rockville, Md., and the surrounding area with a loved one facing Alzheimer’s disease or one of the many other forms of dementia. We provide a safe and comforting place for people with memory challenges. Here, a sensitive team of doctors, nurses, aides, social workers, and Life Enrichment programming create care that embraces the entire person.

An exciting future. At The Village at Rockville, Md., we understand that it’s the little differences—and subtle cues—that can make a meaningful impact in someone’s day. Our memory support program features designated areas for personal memory cues that engage individuals with family mementos, personal items or photographs. Our memory support suites are color-designated to help ease the struggles some have with daily navigation. And to ease the stresses of dementia, we offer a secure memory garden with a swing and gazebo as well as a quiet relaxation room in which residents can sit without distraction and gaze upon a ceiling of soothing starlight.
